With
all those tasty trout swimming around there
have to be some apex predators on the prowl.
Labrador has great pike fishing. 20 pounders
are not unusual. Known for their savage strikes,
these fish are God’s carnivorous masterpiece.
Bring your wire tippet. We have a few outstanding
pike locations, and fly-fishing for them is
a blast.
Most
of the time we don't target these fish, but
we would be happy to do so for those guests
who are interested in catching them. We frequently
catch some nice pike by "accident" while fishing
for lakers, and big pike (15 to 20 lbs.) are
frequently taken in our special pike areas of
the river. Generally speaking, the warmer the
weather, the better our pike fishing, which
in turn coincides with the best brook trout
fishing and the slowest laker fishing
